LET’S BUILD A TALLAHASSEE THAT WORKS For EVERYONE!
Stop AI DATA CENTERS!
I oppose bringing large AI data centers to Tallahassee. They pose a significant threat to our water resources, electric grid, and quality of life while creating relatively few permanent jobs. We need clear policies that protect our natural resources and make sure taxpayers and our next generation aren’t left footing the bill. I support a moratorium on large AI data centers. We should be investing in economic development that creates good local jobs and strengthens our neighborhoods—not subsidizing projects that primarily benefit large out-of-town corporations.
Our community has been presented with a false dilemma. We all agree that improving medical outcomes and access to the best quality care for the people of Tallahassee is essential. We should always be willing to make substantive changes to existing practices if they fall short of that mission.
The PLATFORM
PJ Perez is running for Tallahassee City Commission to make Tallahassee more affordable, build public trust, prioritize public safety, and protect our community from special interests.
Meet PJ PEREZ
A 2005 graduate of Florida State University, PJ is entering his 15th year as a public school teacher, including 12 years at SAIL High School and two years at Tallahassee Collegiate Academy. He lives in the Inglewood neighborhood near Midtown with his wife, Alicia, and two young children.
OPPORTUNITY, UNITY, AND INTEGRITY For TALLAHASSEE
“Tallahassee just isn’t affordable for too many people today. Local government needs to fix this through common sense policies that put working families first — not big-money special interests.”
